Modding problem ,.....
hey, ive had this problem since ive started moddingwhich hasn't been that long but i just haven't confronted the problem and now i want to know how to fix this, every time i mod the skin of a vehicle whenever im close to it, it looks like how i skinned it, but when im farther away from it it looks normal, wat should i do?

well, it shudnt do that. im not quite sure wat to say. Is it when u mod ur own skins or when u dl others? I thk, but not sure that it has something to do with the MIP maps.
Well mother, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Your life on the other hand is like a box of active grenades!
It sounds like you failed to edit the MIP maps properly. When you made your skins, did you have a bunch of little smaller skins next to the one you were editing? Take a screenshot of one of the skins you made, or post it here. I would bet that's what you did wrong.
EDIT: And for those of you who may be saying to yourselves, "MIP maps? WTF is that, he must be high..." MIP maps are skins that change size when you get closer or further from the vehicle. This makes the vehicles look better. Imagine a hog looking detailed very far away, then when it comes up to you it would be all out of focus. The game doesn't really stretch the skins, the MIP maps are resized so that when an object moves closer/further away, it retains the detail level it had before.
