Messed up CD key

i tried to install halo CE but i lost my disk with the CD key on it, but luckly u can look at it by saying autorun on the picure of halo in my computer. but when u install CE, you need a 25 character CD code, mine is 20. ill post a pic in a sec so u can see what i mean.

No you can't. Thats your product ID number that you'd tell to Microsoft for product information. You need to find your CD case, or else you can't play.

do autorun, then go to the website it offers. Then go to support and send them an e-mail. When they send you one back, call the number they give you, and ask for a replacement CD. Make sure you have the cd sleeve though, they'll ask you for the cd-set in the bottom right hand corner.

um... what you have highlighted is your Microshit (ahem) support number. what you need is your cd key. your cd key is NOT your M$ support number. your cd key is on your cd holder thing.

if you would have read undernieth that number it clearly said microsoft PRODUCT ID NUMBER and not serial code.
damn youd think its obvious they wouldnt put the cd key on the autrorun otherwise halo would be the most pirated game ever.
