for spyware go to download.com and get adaware and spybot and run them once a week, and for popups get google toolbar just type in google to find it.

i tryed ad-aware a bit back. it worked for a while then they cam back. but that would probably work. and i tryed spybot and it kept stopping on this certain file. (it wasnt a virus file)
ad-aware will probably work. thanks beastman :D
is there any other way you can permanently get rid of them?

Also you may want to try an alternative browser. After awhile you may never touch IE again. Many of them have popup blockers and are more secure so you don't have to really worry about adware affecting your broswer, but still run checks with Adaware & Spybot S&D.

Firefox-Awesome, haven't looked back on using this.
-Opera, worth the money. Free trial.
-Mozilla, Netscape like, I still prefer firefox.
-Avant Browser
