Need Help- Game all weird looking and weird textures

K I loaded up halo and my colours are all screwed up it looks weird when I play, then I decided to just play some wolfenstein enemy territory, but it looks all screwy to, can anyone help me?

Theres a pic of wolfenstein I couldn't upload one of halo cuz of the file format, but this is sorta what halo looks like, except when you shoot and stuff the bullets are all colourful but it is all messed up And I can't see properly, so if some could help me I'd appreciate it.

Thats odd. I have a Geforce 2 64MB and it looks nothing like that.

It only happens sometimes when I play games, each time i restart the computer it is fine again, but then eventually it will mess up so it gets annoying.

Hmm...that happens to me when I change resolutions from high to low and back to high again.

Are you running in Fixed Function mode?
Have you modded the game other than new levels?
What is your resolution?
What is your refresh rate?

All I can think of is a new video card. If you want an Nvidia card get a Geforce 4, but if you want Xbox quality graphics get an ATI Radeon series card. Nvidias that give you Xbox quality are usually in the $400 range while ATIs are around $200-250. The Geforce 4 MX440 64mb is only about $40, but you don't get all the cool shiny textures on MC and the vehicles. I think I just figured out why Nintendo can afford to sell a GC with it's ATI GPU at $100, while Microsoft is losing money on the Xbox with it's Nvidia GPU. 0.o
