Halo Wars.

I didn't look at the cinematic that was posted, in which everybody was "oooh"ing, and "ahhhh"ing over, but I assume that it was the scene with the three spartans, Forge, and the Arbiter. Epic battle.

The cinematic graphics are absolutely amazing.

There's a few things I don't like, however. One, it's not on a computer. Ensemble's a good company, but nobody will ever be able to beat the mouse/keyboard combination for an RTS. Secondly, the slow gameplay at the beginning of a campaign match sorta' gets me bored and just waiting for resources to accumulate.

Every single day, I wish they had released it for the PC.

I finally have a fucking reason to be happy.
I got my computer back, GONE FOR NEARLY A MONTH!
I want to fuck something.

And I brought my grades up, that's cool too.

OMG MY COMPUTER!

It'd be a completely different game though. I, however, am glad its on the 360. I don't have the PC to be able to play games on (and don't intend to get one). So if that happened, I would have been sad.

The initial resource accumulation is a bit of a problem to me (in skirmish aswell).

For its basic, streamlined gameplay, I'm surprised how much I like Halo wars. It has not left my 360 much at all since I got it when it came out... Which further annoys me because I really should have sold the Halo 3 maps which I'm not really caring about right now.

Is there a collection of the cutscenes somewhere? They're quite good and I want to see them, but I don't intend to buy the game.

...all of which is in vain. It isn't Starcraft. Get over it.
It is a Casual RTS, not a hardcore one. It’s a good game and they did a very good job. So far...the only people I have seen who had a gripe about this game fit in two categories:
  • 1.Hardcore RTSer

2.Someone who didn't understand the controls in full <----Majority
Now hush your mouth and have some starcraft cereal with marshmallow zerglings.

Ensemble was the guys that made the Age of Empires Series, i don't see why they couldn't do the same for Halo Wars on PC. If the majority didn't understand the controls, all of those problems would be solved on a PC. And don't dish your shroud of starcraft, I fucking hate starcraft with a passion.

Woah. Calm down there, Cowboy. I hardly feel I merit such harsh dialect.

Well, I ain't a hardcore RTS'r. In truth, I suck at RTS's. I'm quite poor at them. I'm much more proficient at games that allow me to focus on one character. But I still love RTS's. They're fun to play. But by no means am I "hardcore."
And I fully understand the controls.

Come now, that's just insulting and hurtful to us real Commies. They're fascists. Or we can ad-hitlerum and call them all Nazis if you wish.

I love this map that I got for Unreal Tournament 3. It looks like a giant house, from the perspective of a tiny action figure.

Forgive me... Reading it again I see that I came across rather harshly. Any who...there isn't any. Do you know why?
It was the Marshmallow Zerglings and there amazing ability to give you a Sugar rush ( Ha! ).
Eat more then a bowl and your Heart Skips a beat or two ( much like the effects of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs). "tasty, lip-smacking, crunchy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside, and they don't have a single natural ingredient or essential vitamin to get in the way of that rich, fudgy taste."

Calling people Communists is my thing here Tural. >_>
Calling people "Friggin Nazis" is still open though.^_^ (as has been stated)

My mum phoned me from her mobile, and it obviously wasn't a very good signal from the start of the call, as I could hear her end, a bit... but she couldn't hear mine. So I was like standing there going "hellooo, hellooo" then it turned to "mum, mummmm" then before I knew it, I was going "mum, mum, mama, mum, lois" and yeah, it was really funny at the time. My friend just looked at me after the second "mum" and knew what was coming next.

Tural would have loved it.

EDIT: Tural, I had the same request a few months ago, and Veegie linked me to this. Dunno of there's a newer article. http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/hal ... ead=913534
