The current theme is sloppy and not well thought out.
There is too much empty space and not enough color variation to separate various parts that should be separated.
As stated before me, new features are not working and features that were working perfectly well before the change have either stopped working or are non-existent.

I don't know how the site looks on a smaller monitor, but I used to have much more text area than this:

Also, there is not enough space between the bottom options and the edge of the screen in some areas.

For the record, the theme is the default phpBB3 proSilver. The only thing modified is the gradient under the logo. The rest of the colours are default phpBB3.

More issues: the pages are are on the right, instead of under the title; and it merely shows the name of the last poster in a forum but not the topic that it was posted in.

I fail to see how the pages on the right is an 'issue'.

I love it.

Some skin things aren't padded, so there flush against the corner of the sides of the browser otherwise looks fine. I bet it was a pain converting that many posts from phpBB2 to phpBB3, awesome front page. That is amazing.

The skin colors in perspective to the old skin, is almost identical I don't know how people can be complaining about the difference of colors.

A mod in phpBB2, probably won't work in phpBB3. However, I know some mods out there, that you enter your gamertag in your profile, then it displays your gamertag card in your profile.

There is a clear and easily definable difference between the foreground and background colours. If users are having problems with brightness, it's more than likely down to their monitors not being calibrated properly.

I've spent some of this afternoon trying to see what the geneal census of complaints so far have been.
#1: Forum theme too bright [standard phpbb3 theme which can be changed tweaked]
#2: New logo, apparently it lacks depth and detail, maybe have a competition for user designed logos such as that one done in 2005?
#3: Forum layout is apprently cluttered, this how ever can be corrected by user instead of clicking "Board index" but by clicking "Halomods".

That is my complaint and this thread is for complaints; as it inconveniences me (and other people, I am sure).

I have never had this issue.

Its a habit, People are used to seeing the page number under the name so they could go to the last page . And now its not there so they feel a bit confused. It should take some getting used to.

It's a change, it's not an issue. It's not something that is broken and that needs fixing.

Not a huge fan of the new style yet, but then, it is just different. However, maybe there should be multiple templates for users so they can choose what is best for them?

Myself, I enjoy darkened, higher contrast forums like this:
http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/Hermes

To me, it's a lot easier to see what's going on, and having darker backgrounds means I can see renders/pictures/mods at the proper contrast, rather than being altered by a pure white background.

The logging out issue is very annoying. I'm fine with everything else, but I want the emblems back.

There is an emblems mod for phpBB3, I've used it. Takes a hell amount of time to set all the settings and permissions though.

I don't see the file upload tab when making new posts though, file uploads removed?

EDIT: Its only in the "downloads" section when its enabled. All good, no bug.

During the conversion to phpbb3 several forums seem to have gotten lost (deleted?).

The Halomods Projects forum, which contained the sparkedit and hmt sections, has gone, Documents forum has gone, possibly others too.

The HaloMods projects category was pretty much dead.

Documents and Tricks have been merged into 'Misc'

Emblems are working fine, at the moment.

That's true, but that's no reason to get rid of it.

I may be wrong, haven't checked out that category for ages, but I'm assuming there was information in there regarding sparkedit/hmt etc. that may still be useful.

Nothing has been deleted. If and when the demand for said threads increases, they will see a return.
