The physics BS and the bit about the threads aside, it was a good action flick. I liked it much more than I thought I would.JK-47 wrote:Just watched Wanted.
It was pretty lame.. yet, I enjoyed it.
Weird movie.

I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.

In hindsite though, I'm sure there's a bunch of tutorials on how to make these things considering youTube's popularity... But I managed to do it on my own

Halo: The Cole Protocol by Tobias S. Buckell
O.M.F.G. This book is is summing up to probably be my second favorite of all the books. Its taking a lot to not just blurt out all the moments... and stuff. >_>
At risk of giving spoiler-rific hints...I can say the there is a definite all-around tone or "theme" to this book (even with this "Grey Team" which you truly learn about in chapter 8 )... and that it is making me more excited about Halo: ODST, but it is also making me kind of sad that Keys is dead and unless they go before the first halo... *Sigh* >_>.

Lucky bastard. I loved Mammoth. in the LA Area all we have is Mountain High, which is always packed with people, very small, and way too expensive, and Snow Summit/Big Bear that suffers from the same things, except for the higher probability for real powder.noscottno wrote:It's nice having access to the Sierra Nevadas.

In Halo Wars they made all the UNSC Green and Covenant Purple... and it looks ugly. I liked it when they all had there own original colors. Purple Hunters look... a lot less menacing. I know why they did it, but I really really hope there is an option to turn it off.

It's got great runs and all, but it's got a bad thing going for it. It snows at night, and then gets really hot until noonish, melts the snow, and turns icy so they fire up the snowmakers, and at night it snows again and starts the whole process over again.noscottno wrote:I've heard Bear's a cool mountain.

So basically you have new england-like ice.. but with tons more snow, a bigger mountain, and a reputation as one of the greatest parks of all time?Cuda wrote:It's got great runs and all, but it's got a bad thing going for it.
