I like the 300 better than the 900 personally. Also, I agree that current games will run faster with the Core 2 Duo, but games are moving toward being able to support 4-8 threads, so I went with that for longevity.

Also thanks for catching my typo...1000 RPM wouldn't be very fast now would it?
