This is both a rant and happiness.

Just got my grades back...However the 2 subjects I'm annoyed with I got one less mark required to get distinctions

74 is by no means bad, but when you miss out on the title of distinction, its just annoying.

This is exactly what happened in my HSC (higher school certificate, the last thing you do for high school), one mark under the next title

There's a difference between being smart and not applying oneself. I'm very smart when it comes to things I actually give a shit about, but Calc 3 is not something I give/gave a shit about.
