I just read the Halo 2 plot topic and I began to think....
Human being forrunners does sound wierd and stuff but why is there pine trees on Halo, 343 speaks english, 343 thought MC knew all about Halo and it's purpose maybe because he could be forrunner, forrunner symbols are fimiliar to all the spartans, human use covenant tech better than covenant (first strike), 343 could have a programing code similar to Cortana, what if the Pillar of Autumn was named Truth and Reconsiliation and the Truth was named the Pillar of autumn it would not be that strange. There are tons of clues in the symbols familiarity, 343, and the grass, pines, weeds on Halo (earth plants) and other things.

We will know when it comes out but the plot would explain things.

There are digging sites under the underground base on Reach that connects to the large room with that wierd artifact that messes with time and space. The digging site has forrunner symbols, the technology is there I think. So that could be how they got the tech.

It might be a fake plot or real but why would he write so much just for a pun, it is too much writing, I could get a 100 on a Language Arts paper for that much writing.

cortana can translate languages but 343 might speak english because human creators (or im wrong and bungie just did it for making it easy) You can easily make a new language just by swapping different letters. And stop getting on my case it's not a big deal!
