Sapien doesnt open anything

when i go to open sapien and it lets me choose the .scenario file, i click on a .scenario and it looks like its about to open, then shuts down. nothing happens. how do i fix this?

you dont fix it

have you not seen all of the posts about this

nothing is wrong

it has to load all of the things required to play halo

just leave it be for about 4-5 min

maybe i should clarify a little bit. it looks like its going to open. a white window pops up but shuts down immediatly.

No, halo, you are wrong. This happens sometimes. Sapien loads and is open for about a second but closes itself. I don't know why exactly this happens. I would say just make sure that all the objects that are linked to the frame have materials and have mat id's applied to all the faces.

but its not just for one .scenario file. its for the tutorial one as well. nothing will open. i already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. nothing changes...god this pisses me off...

i think i might have found something. there is a notepad file in the halo custom edition folder that is named debug. in mine there were about 200 instances of this:

05.23.04 17:12:16 sapien pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
05.23.04 17:12:16 reference function: _write_to_error_file
05.23.04 17:12:16 reference address: 401b13
05.23.04 17:12:16 Couldn't read map file './sapienbeta.map'

is it a glitch like tools ./toolbeta.map file? or is it something else?

this happens to me to.... i dont know whats going on... but i kow its bullshit. ive read about this a few times but i cant find any answers.
