I modded the map to play as marine. Then I play for a bit, get a checkpoint. Then save and quit, ftp clean map without mods. Load the save. Then I play as marine without a modded map. The film works too.

One tester is enough. Also there wasn't glitches, just hard to jump over stuff as a marine.

I loved those modded saves for H2. Good luck with further research, Dark, and everyone else as well. Too bad I still don't have an XSATA or anything.

It works on retail.

What happens if you save/quit right after it starts, so that the saved campaign game is right at the beginning instead of at the first checkpoint? I assume it would work, but I can't really check...

...It's worth 0GS; look in the thread in this section. They mention it unlocking something, but they don't say what.

It unlocks nothing that will affect your current content in Halo 3.

bungie said it will unlock something down the road.

how long will testing take?

sry if this has been answered, but would this modded save work on retail? If so, any chance of it being released.
