but then taht would need new lightmaps, which in my opinion this mod has seen enough of (oh shit that reminds me i edited the truth and reconciliation lightmaps and forgot to post pics of them.
ok here is a lightened cliff wall, comments?

and here are the lightmaps for truth and recon

this room, along with many others, are now a lot more purple

this room, also along with many others are now a lot more Cyan

i guess that's where our opinions conflict, i felt that the covenant ships seemed a bit more...how should i put this...reptilian, mysterious, organic,
well i guess in one word mysterious, reptilian and organic kinda add to a mysterious effect. listening to the marine's conversations on that level they keep talking about "damn, i never thought i'd get this close to one of these things" and "How are we gonna get inside that monster" so of course the marines had a sense of awe/confusion. i wanted to confirm these "thoughts" i guess you could call them even though they are just AI.
in other words, the marines Don't know what to expect when they board the ship. and when they actually DO board the ship, the find exactly what they expected, if you catch my meaning

it doesn't sound harsh, it sounds honest.
ok here's my last attempt at this level's cliff walls, depending on the feedback i'll either keep this, switch back to the previous one, or try to get someone else to skin the cliff wall for me

I'd say it looks quite nice actually. And about purple skies, I was thinking about doing a few, but I thought you might be. It's all good then.

For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.
