Uhm. Unless you're the only one using it, it's bad practice to not have your code work in multiple browsers, and that's an issue the page developer needs to account for, because your users aren't going to be using one browser exclusively.

The beta is sick. The only thing that upsets me is no Ad-block.

I'm trying it out now, it looks cool but it seems to load stuff much slower.

Despite promising myself I wouldn't, Firefox got on my nerves earlier, so I decided I would anyway. It's not bad for the most part. It has a few weird text bugs from time to time, and I'm not sure I like everything being so big, but it's otherwise neat.

Erm...am I the only one who can't do a middle mouse button click to scroll with it? Also, I see the text errors you were talking about...if you do edit post and try adding something in the middle of a sentence it looks like you're using the Insert function for a while. =|

Now that you mention the scrolling bug, I notice it as well. Simply doesn't do anything.

Right click doesn't have a reload/refresh option. Nitpicky, but meh.

I will give it a try, but prolly never use it other than that time. I am happy with Safari and my custom browser.

I like it, I can tell a big difference in start/load times from FF3.

I like the ability to stretch the typing box thing.

But it's too buggy for me to use at the moment. Not surprising really, it being a beta and all.

It's pretty cool so far...just need me some Adblock Plus. Also, the re sizable text box is available in Safari.

Anyone know how to check image properties? Doesn't appear to be there. There is Inspect Element, but that's pretty worthless at the moment.

You know what I hate? You download an installer, then the downloaded installer downloads another installer to install. Like seriously that's just stupid! Due to this, I currently am unable to download Chrome (I believe its due to it not being able to figure out my connection - which settings I cannot change)

Once I do manage to get it installed, I'll edit this post. But for now, why do so many app makers do this?

Really? I downloaded one half-meg file, ran it, and boom, Chrome.

I downloaded the installer direct from Google's page and it still had to download stuff when I ran it.

You probably didn't notice it because its probably something quick. But the simple fact that it is there rules me out of downloading it here.

I think I like it. I don't like the BB Code buttons, they're way to the right side.

Also, I need an Adblock Plus.

It's fast, though. :P

EDIT: I'm absolutely loving this --

i'm trying it out right now. seems alright, although it's not performing exactly as i'd like, and i'm noticing some bugs.

i read the comic, and maybe it was just propaganda, but i like the ground-up approach they took. i'd have to wait until a final until i choose between this and firefox, though. i'd really like to see this browser get the sort of extension support and community involvement firefox has.

Universal as far as I can tell. I'm back on my Firefox.
