Making custom models... What am I doing wrong?

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Making custom models... What am I doing wrong?

Alright let me give you step by step what I've done to try and make a scenery model for my map. Then can someone please tell me what I'm not doing.

I create the "data/scenery/test_scenery/" directory with models and bitmaps subdirectories. I make a cube called "model" and link it to my frame cube. I apply the material "test_scenery.tif" from my bitmaps folder to it. Then I use tool and do a "tool model scenery/test_scenery/" and a "tool bitmaps scenery/test_scenery/bitmaps". I procede to open guerilla and create a new scenery tag. I call it "test_scenery.scenery" and the model it uses is "tags/scenery/test_scenery/test_scenery.gbxmodel". So I open Sapien and try to add it as scenery but I see nothing when it's added. The object appears invisible. I think at one point when I was compiling it it asked me about what shader to use and I told it glass. But could that really be the problem? And if it is how would I fix that and what shader would I use?
