Well, leaving for my trip! If I get internet access during it at all, I'll pop in, but don't count on it.

Indeed. I hope SciFi keeps showing it (their schedule says they will for at least the next three weeks) or least doesn't stop in the middle of a story arc. I'd like to see it as a permanent part of the Ani-Monday block.

Turns out Windows not being Activated just bugs you when you log in, and changes your wallpaper to a black screen. Cool.

What's that show about anyways? My mother recorded several thousand episodes onto our Tivo and I have yet to know what it is.

Eureka? It's about a (fictional) town of geniuses and the daily misadventures of their average-IQ'd sheriff and his actually-pretty-smart daughter. It is quite awesome.

Yeah it is a goo show. I think they got the perfect guy to play the sheriff because he does the smart ass remarks perfectly.

My web browser has been resurrected after an accidental delete and then being dug out of my backups to be updated with a fresh coat of paint...add the ability to disable image loading, javascript, and image looping.

Yeah, my friends is like that. It's not really any big deal, you'll get used to the login timer thing, and for me my background is already just black, so it's no biggie.

You can still use windows even though it hasn't been activated for 30 days? Though it like locked you out unless you activated it.

It did that in XP, but there was a hyperlink on the activation form, so you could open firefox/IE, navigate to your file system and run explorer.exe.

With Vista, you can just use it as normal, with the exception it logs you off every hour.

I installed my XP Home again. Man this seems retro.
