PMI+sparkedit issue

Post by AbeFroman »

just PMIed c dropship, pelican, and wraith into Deathisland but when i open it in SParkedit i get this error

Image

an unamed file was not found is what it says

ive tried what ive looked up in searches but...

1: there is no deathisland sparkify.ppf
2: deathisland isn't running on HMT or HHT or any other modding tools, i even looked under ctrl alt delete's processes tab
3: Halo was definitely not running

perhaps you're trying to load deathisland.map from the list of like the five last opened maps, which doesn't update if you moved the file to some other folder

like, you opened it before doing any PMI, but after PMIing and making all those folders, that file is gone, and you have your new file somewhere else, but are still using the shortcut to the original file

nope, but i think i found the problem...could it be that i tried the PMI on a map that was already sparkedited? cuz i tried the PMI again on the deathisland.map that i restored from my CD and it loaded in sparkedit fine
