That wouldnt make sense in my opinion.xbox wrote:I don't think that would work Turk, the security helmet would probably have to be in the map file.
That would mean the perms for all 13 would need to be in every multiplayer map including any that get released in the future which would increase file size.

anything that u see on the map, in the game on the map, is inside the map. When u play the game with like a hayabusa helmet and a cqb armor, then the game would recognize it somehow and would add it to your body, so it makes a character and lets it show off to everybody, and that means that the recon is inside the map too, and can be used... hope u understand XDares-erus wrote:That wouldnt make sense in my opinion.xbox wrote:I don't think that would work Turk, the security helmet would probably have to be in the map file.

Not necessarily, shared.map stores all kinds of tags which can be called upon from any map file on the fly. Storing the files externally like this reduces file sizes of the maps too, since there's no need to store every necessary tag in each map file.asif333 wrote:anything that u see on the map, in the game on the map, is inside the map. And for anyone that needs to play catch up, the issue is that they're not referenced by the map file. Which would require modification of the actual map file(not possible on retail).Choking Victim wrote:Not necessarily, shared.map stores all kinds of tags which can be called upon from any map file on the fly.
