Yeah, playing the C&C3 demo, it was actually amusing there. It's just annoying in this. And no, I don't have the expansion yet. I'll probably just survive on the normal version.

Apparently my teammates in Grifball think that "Don't use gravity hammers when the bomb carrier is running at the goal" means the opposite! How nice.

Yeah, I didn't find any of the campaigns very interesting...basically, all you need to watch is the ending cutscene for each faction and you get the whole story. Spoilers, whoever you're playing as wins.

That's stupid. I thought it would be like Starcraft, where each campaign is separate, but in the same timeline. Oh well. Beta testing it was fun, and I might be having a LAN with some people who have it as well. That should be interesting.

Funny you mention that, because in the expansion, there's only one campaign...so they pretty much ignore two of the endings as far as canon goes. >_>

Granted, there are scenes after the credits for each campaign there's a short sequence...I think all of them are canon.

Some person recently tried to break into a house in our neighborhood, and now the cops are all over.

Why is it that the HL2's facial textures and technology still kick new games asses? They still look so much better than so many other games.

The best example of old > new is Starcraft's cutscenes. Amazing. Could've been so much better if they weren't 256 colors and low-res. Starcraft 2's should be exponentially cooler.

I disagree. Source is dated, and it's really starting to show. They're good at taking advantage of everything the engine's got, I'll give 'em that, but it only goes so far.

Yeah, the cinema I went to last night was full, and when we came out of the cinema, there was a massive queue for the next session...Normally at 930 at night on a Saturday, the mall there is all closed and empty, there were lots of people around for the movie :P

Also, GTAF, what I mean is how the faces in the game look detailed and are able to convey emotions. I can think of games like Mass Effect and MGS4 that beat it, but most games just map one emotion onto the characters face and it never changes.

Ok, so I'm in Florida at a Condo with all of my family. There's only 6 of us, with 3 rooms, so it's not that bad.

However, after being excited to find out about free wireless internet, I found out it had a password. I got the password, and came back. After connecting, I started surfing the internet and talking on AIM. The internet speed was pretty decent, better than what I had expected.

So, we left our room and went to see my Uncle's condo. (He's in the condo across the street.) I got him to check his speed on http://www.speedtest.net.

Here's his results:
Download Speed: 512kbps
Upload Speed: 1.5mbps
Ping: 1ms

So, I thought that was extremely good for gaming. He brought his Xbox 360, and sure enough, his host was really good on Xbox Live. Zero lag.

After we left his condo, we came back to ours and I tested our speed.
Here's my results:

Download Speed: 1.3mbps (Actually get 124kbps)
Upload Speed: 24kbps (ARE YOU SERIOUS!?)
Ping: 367ms (LAG much?)

Also, the internet isn't even decent anymore. It's really slow. I'm assuming that it's because it's 12:00 and everyone is inside on the internet instead of outside at the ocean.

Playing drums on RB, and in the middle of playing Limelight, my red pad fu**ing just falls off. It's hanging by the wire right now, and I just requested an RMA so I should be getting replacement pads soon...

The plastic must of been taking a lot of bending and it finally just snapped. What the hell.

RIP - Second set of drums
