Firstly, learn to spell, secondly, they do guard the queen, but in the event of the Queens death they fight amongst themselves until one is strong enough to become a new Queen. If they all die, one of the drones is meta-morphed into a Queen.

it's so hard to spell proertorians correct and doesn't the queen lay a proteorian egg so then the proteriran facehugger comes out( dont have to explain the alien life cycle) sorry its just that it happens in aliens vs predator extinction.

First of all they aren't Proteins, they're Praetorians.

Second of all, depending on what game you're playing, their either young queens or drones in their final stage.

I prefer the AvP2 version, as AvP:E suck's to be honest, a RTS AvP? Kill me now, only good for a first person shooter.

what about the orginal alien film deleted scene that showed ash being slowy turned into a egg by the drone or the avp:R predalien circle.(god that having the chestbusters out of the pegnaunt lady was shocking)

None of those are Praetorians.

When an alien is alone, it morphs into a queen to spawn more aliens. There's a lot of different things Praetorians can be, young queen, queen guardian.. But the only time I've ever seen them is in AVP2. They've never appeared in any comics I've ever read. Queen guardian would make a lot more sense to me.. I'm not seeing the point in having a 'young queen' running around fighting. The morph between drone and queen should be a stationary and somewhat quick process. If they needed a new queen a new drone would probably step up to the plate and morph.
There is a resemblance between Praetorian and Queen, but that doesn't mean much.
