Agh I'm jealous... what trail did you take up/down? I'm thinking I might hike Tucks Ravine this winter and snowboard down.

I will have to look that up, but I have a feeling it was Tucks Ravine, the name sounds really familiar.

Full name is tuckermans Ravine, you could have gone up Lions Head too judging by where you are in the second pic.
I'm going to be interning at the observatory btw
Coolest mountain I have been on despite the height, cool being in the place with the record highest winds in the world.

I went up Crawford and came down by the Lawn Cutoff to Boottspur. Boott's downclimb was INTENSE.
and yeah that sign about the worst weather in America is kind of cool.
If you can't read it:
"THIS AREA HAS THE WORST WEATHER IN AMERICA.
MANY HAVE DIED THERE FROM EXPOSURE, EVEN IN THE SUMMER. TURN BACK NOW IF THE WEATHER IS BAD."
