New Halo 2 intro_60.bik

Hello everyone, I finally made an account here at HaloMods.
I had been previously just been browsing around the site for a few years.

So I thought I'd finally contribute to the modding community myself.

Here I have made a new intro to Halo 2.
I persnally have never liked any of the other intros other modders have ever put out.
So I thought Id make my own finally =]
I put together some Halo Wars footage and the song Liberate by Disturbed.
I personally favor elites over spartan so I kinda geared the video to make the elites seem more bad**s =D
I had to reduce the video quality some because the video wasnt loading at startup. It would just go to the blue loading percent screen.
The quality isnt reduced to bad.

I also did the honors of uploading the video to youtube =]
It was annoying (took 3 hours) xD

This is my first post, so i'm sorry if I messed anything up on posting or any encounter that may show up, I appologize in advance.

BTW. I have the original high quality version of the video before I compressed it to work as intro_60.bik if you want to use it as the attract.

INSTALATION INTRUCTIONS
1. Save the files and Un-RAR the files with winrar.
2. Open your halo 2 directory on your xbox and open the "Bink" folder.
3. Copy over the new intro to the directory, and overwrite.
4. Boot up Halo 2 and your done.

It'd be cool maybe the first couple times I started up Halo 2. But it's a bit long.

That's the same exact thing I was thinking. Rid it of the blinking, and you should be good to go.

I thought the intro was good. The blinking is no hazard, not to america anyway, the current runs slower so it is impossible to create a flash fast enough in america to make people spasm. Great Job.

Because people in America don't get seizures so easily :O

No actually has nothing to do with the individual. America simply altered the flow of electricity, meaning not as many frames per sec as Japan, although there gauged at the same level 30 frames per sec, america actually gets about 29.7 frames a sec.

This would be a good intro for Halo Wars seeing how the stuff was taken from Halo Wars. However, that only applies if there was no sound, that song sucked. I do not like the music at all. Furthermore, I do not like the seizure effect at the start.

It's not a 'seizure effect' as you put it.

It's just a logo that blinks in time with the music, which works quite well in my opinion.

Yeah, you put it in the /bik/ fold under your Halo2 computer on your MODDED XBOX 1. Halomods does not support TDATA modding, nor is it even possible to use this with a 360.

I think that that is an awsome intro. Keep it up! That was simple but really looked cool. I would just try to make a menu so u can switch between intros. Maybe I will start to work on that a little later. Im not really sure of where to start. Maybe I could play around with the menu.map file a little to try and change it up. I really think thats an awsome mod. Keep it up!
