You kidding? That game would own Halo 3 out of the water today.-Legendary- wrote:Compared to the other games back then, that game would have been awesome. Maybe.

I laughed a little at that last part.Dream053 wrote:He doesn't have to answer every question you pose him. I understand your curiosity, but again, it is an internal affair, not a community spectacle. If anyone actually even knew who Anthony was, you'd know that he, of all people, is the last person to want modding to reach Matchmaking. He currently does not have the ability to do so, nor is he looking for a way. Hell, the main source of the explosion of modding wasn't even Anthony's fault. It was Shade's.Fuzzy McDoodle wrote: How does it not have to do with the community, we are playing the maps aren't we. If this thing goes into matchmaking, it will ruin everyone that plays. No one is asking to punish him, only for an answer on why he isn't. He is supposed to answer questions that other community members can't that has some Bungie insight.
I'm not as worried as the rest of you are, because I actually keep up on the progress of recreational modding. Modding in matchmaking is impossible as it stands. Given that they are not, and will not do the research to do so, you are all gunning for the wrong head.
Anyway, perhaps a better question to ask, rather than to ask about specifically Anthony and Shade, is why Bungie is allows a site like halomods to even stay open after all of this

As long as it doesn't cause any problems, I don't think Bungie even cares.. Apparently, as we're still running even after the Halo 2 incident.
Reading that topic made me frustrated though. I hate stupidity.
Besides, it's not like Halo modding is flourishing anyways. It's hit an ultimate low, as it stands.
Edit:
I will be ordering my new video card within the next few days. I will finally get to actually play games newer than the year 2003.

I have an actual MLG team going now. It's taken 4 years, but I've finally done it. It's Me, XiL Revolution, CHILLWIL, and WILCHILL. We're getting hours and hours of practice in daily ... and that's not even the cool stuff. My Dad believes in this team and that we will go far. So, he's buying me the 20" HD LCD TV's that MLG is going to be using for Halo 3. He's also buying me like 5 new wired controllers.
Now, I don't know how I talked him into letting us do this ... but I did. The week before MLG Orlando, he's going to let my teammates (CHILLWIL, and WILCHILL) fly to our house and stay for the entire week. We're going to LAN the entire time and we're going to have some time on Xbox Live doing Game Battles. My Dad is also taking us to any LAN events around us. We are going to go over some strategies as well, and after every game that we lose, we're going to watch the video and see what we did wrong.
My Dad is also our coach, so the whole time that we're practicing, he's going to stand behind us and practice calling stuff out and timing it. So, while we're there, he's going to time all of the power ups, power weapons, etc. It's going to be so awesome.
This is amazing. I feel so awesome right now.
