you've got a point there. that they look like glass. and plus one of the most recent pics of halo2 it shows a red mc holding a sword and it barley looks like he's holding it.

Actually thats not true. Weapons known as a Quahab or Katar (which are claw weapons) look almost identical to this so-called energy sword. Its fine with me that they call it whatever they want, but its not what it is.
