World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King: Friends and Family Alpha

* Welcome to the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Friends and Family Alpha. The list below contains information on the current available content for testing and general information. This information is subject to change.

General

*
* The continent of Northrend is now available! To travel there, visit one of four transportation masters in either Orgrimmar, Undercity, Theramore,or Menethil Harbor.
* Transportation between Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra can be found at the Tuskarr villages in those zones.
* NPC Transportation Locations
o Horde:
+ Undercity to Vengeance Landing (Howling Fjord)
+ Orgrimmar to Warsong Hold (Borean Tundra)
o Alliance:
+ Menethil Harbor to Valgarde (Holwing Fjord)
+ Theramore Valiance Keep (Borean Tundra)

World Environment Zones

*
* The following zones are available for testing: Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, and Grizzly Hills

Dungeons

*
* The following dungeons are available for testing:
o Howling Fjord: Utgarde Keep (70-72)
o Howling Fjord: Utgarde Pinnacle (80)
o Borean Tundra: The Nexus (70-72)
o Grizzly Hills: Drak’Tharon Keep (74-76)

Classes

*
* All Classes are available for play. Spells and talents will be available for testing past 70 for the following classes: Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior
* The Death Knight Hero class is now available for play.
o Creating a new Death Knight will start you at level 55 in Eastern Plaguelands.
o No starting quests areimplemented though Death Knight abilities will be available for testing.
o Several Death Knight talents, although they will appear on the talent pane, are not yet implemented.

* The following tradeskills are available to train up to 450: First Aid, Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning.

I'm still waiting to get into Old IronForge. I do remember hearing after a while they would unlock the door for people to go down.

You can still get in. There's a place where a mage can polymorph you and you'll walk right in.

I could barely play this game for 5 minutes without getting ridiculously bored. But my brother seems to like this game.

Oh, well, you won't really get banned. I've been in there plenty of times myself and a GM has not yet even talked to me about it, yet.

But that may be because I just haven't been caught, yet.

Exploiting is against the rules in WoW apparently. They are getting into places they shouldn't be getting into such as GM Island.

It takes a while before you actually start into real missions. Most MMORPGs are like that.

meh when i want to go play wow i go to a friends house iots ok i find it gets boring

Yeah you can't play for 5 minutes and expect it to be fun.

I just can't play the game extended periods of time. Usually I get a character up to 70 and then quit the game because I can't figure out another character to create and I don't feel like running instances all the time. Honor is sooo boring to grind but I'm going to get the s2 swords and armor for my rogue when s4 comes out on the 24th. Bit of an improvement, I'm still using Ced's Carver and the Whispering Blade of slaying (71dps daggers) and the swords are like... 97dps. Not to mention I'm still wearing a couple low 60's gear, and even a couple greens. Yeah it's time to upgrade.

But yeah back on topic, I'll definitely start playing again with WoTLK.
