The Official Rant Thread
You can be proud of yourself and sympathetic towards others. Just because you're happy with what you have doesn't mean you don't care about people who don't have such things. In addition, bcnipod went completely off-topic to bring up something 100% irrelevant to everything, simply to push the idea that people who are fortunate are somehow bad people, without ever even knowing the person. Incredibly ignorant, and for the most part, stupid.

poor dog.
But on a serious note, if someone has money they're entitled to spend it how they want. It's not their responsibility to worry about homeless people, it's not his fault they f***ed up their life. They shouldn't be expected to care about those less fortunate.
It's a sad fact, but humans in general are extremely narrow minded. They only care about what affects them, and if it's not in their best interests most people won't care about it. Such is life.
I've lost faith in most of the human race. People should spend a few weeks in the extreme poverty of countries in africa, eastern asia and the middle east to really realise how lucky they have it.
Do a little research about a man named Andrew Carnegie, a very wealthy man during the period of Industrialization in America who made a huge amount of wealth in the steel industry. He then spent the last of his years as a philanthropist donating money to various projects, saying in a book he wrote, Gospel of Wealth, something along of the lines of that there is no greater waste then the man that leaves money behind.
It's too bad that it seems like the only ones that become excessively wealthy are the ones that are most frugal with their money, which I suppose is the manner in which they accumulated that wealth.

I did not mean that, I was trying to say that they should not be snobby about what they have when there are people that cannot afford anything. Sorry if I made this go offtopic.Tural wrote:You can be proud of yourself and sympathetic towards others. Thought I'd look through the h3 modding section again. Unfortunately, the first topic I see is the "ending note"...Just shows how little has changed. Not so much in terms of modding halo3...More in terms of the attitude and the acceptance of its exclusivty towards it. Basically, there still isn't any.
I just wanna see more things that have been modded by the people who can via screenshots, not constant bickering about how its unfair that Microsoft managed to make a secure xbox and how they can't mod... An archive showing what has been done in a non500 page/question thread would be orsm...But asking that of them/staff/anyone would be silly.
Ahh well. Just back to the cafe' graphics, game and h3 discussion sections again

That was what i was talking about.shadowkhas wrote:Er, that's what AP classes in high school do. But yes, I dislike snobby rich people.
But you quoted this.
The kid is a total trust fund child. Grandparents started a good Law firm and his mom's family sold high end real estate. He tries to act like a thug, but goes to a Private school in Orange County.Cuda wrote:His dad owns a Mazeratti, and lives in a 6 million dollar house on the beach.
