How are the hog and turrets tied together?

Aside from it being public enough that you don't even have to specify the vehicle or game name to find a video of it, you can just ask latino, Anthony, myself, or any of the other 50 people on this site who have done it and posted pictures.

Yes, you can drive it. I've drove it myself, you have to destroy the 3 hogs that are spawned outside. then you wait for it to respawn, and push it to the main part of the map via glitching and pushing with gravity lifts. Once it's in there, you can drive it.

That's not ignorance, it is simply being unaware. He made a specific effort to try the action before talking about it. He was not being ignorant, he was just unaware of the situation. Now, you're significantly late, and you're talking down to people even after they have admitted fault and the topic has progressed past the point of this issue. Please refrain from doing so in the future. I submit that it is you who is ignorant, to the discussion that is.

Also, stop breaking rules.

By the way, you only have to destroy one, since the other 2 are actually already destroyed :D

So they aren't exactly tied together?


They are different identifiers?


Via, example, lets say the gunner hog is 1000 0002, the gauss is 5001 3001, those in no way are identifiers, its an example =].

However, the turrets can be spawned...seperatly.


Wish the hog could be spawned without turret xD.

In Halo 2 the turret was linked by a dependency, and I'm assuming it is the same way in Halo 3, if so, then you can null the turret dependency and it should not have a turret. However, doing that would require you to edit the map.

The map should have an Ident for the troop hog, as it is obviously spawned on the map already.

What no one can find out is this Ident, then it could be spawned just like any other unplaceable object (such as the large mancannons on Avalanche)

You just have to figure that part out. Maybe looking through the file for the object that is spawned at those coordinates? Not sure how you would get those either though, I dont mod :wink:

Just open the actual map in Engineer and look under the vehi tag for the troop hog. Then write down the ident and you are good to go.

Remember, that only spawns the troop turret, not the entire 'hog.

So we don't know how to spawn the actual vehicle without doing that crap from the video? (I haven't looked yet myself)
