Ninja gaiden 2, a game I'm hyped about has just revealed its plans for alternate costumes... They look great! They are fully completed and everything! But the catch? Oh, rather than you know, putting it on the disc...They're going to make us pay to have them. They are already done, they add no experience to the game, they could be loaded on the disc. But NO! we have to pay them 200 MS points to get a different visual touch.
What's wrong with unlocking it in game like in Halo? For a game so brutally hard, you'd think they'd reward you for excellent efforts (like the prequal too). But (yes I know its a business) this money grabbing really aggravates me. To me, its worse than paying for weapons in battlefield: bad company, because they're done, but they do absolutely nothing.
Oh sure, I can choose not to buy it...Teach those fools a lesson! The internet screams. Oh, you mean like against Halo 3's map pack pricing? Or Gears of War? Horse armour?
Those things still get sold, they still get a tonne of money and boycott's do hardly anything.
Speaking of Halo 3's map pack, I'm kinda regretting this one. Whilst I've had a lot of fun with them. I haven't had nearly enough playtime as I did with the heroic one. With GTA out, I'm feeling I kinda wasted my money
