The basis of your new vision seems to be because you haven't gotten your way with things in recent times and so you link its fault to society. So I could easily just dump that rant into the "omg teen angst cut cut cut" category. This is made further evident when you go from ranting about society's faults to something as insignificant as your mum borrowing your phone instead of getting her own. Because your mum borrowing your phone is a clear cut example of why society is so stupid (because according to you, the people in society don't think at all).

You have a desire to rebel against society; to go away and do things with yourself (hehe good quote to take out of context ;p), yet the main reason for you NOT doing so is because you are wanting to finish things within it. Like getting your license to be able to drive away. Well, if you were so against society's ways, you could easily just take a car, and drive it away, screw getting society's official document saying you are eligible to drive. You also don't have the time? But if your trying to free yourself from it, shouldn't you be ridding said tasks that take up that time? I also note that you want to do so much, yet at the end of the paragraph you say you don't know what to do with yourself.

There's a bit where you say how "I dislike how we are forced into relationships", despite this being natural instinct for one, you go on to say you "won't" (I'm taking this as a typo for want) to be with someone in your life that truly entertains you...Yet can't because of society. So my thoughts on that is: You don't like society because it forces you into a relationship (despite my aforementioned argument), but you want to rebel, get into a relationship, but you can't, because society stops you from having one...

However, I've probably misinterpreted something along the way here. So I don't know how strong this would be. But feel free to enlighten me, and then perhaps I will agree with you.

What I do agree with though is that at least you have a passion to do something with your life. At least at this moment.

Grandparents are coming really soon (couple hours) which means they're taking my little brothers room, so he's staying in my room... Which means I can't use my computer past his bedtime probably, which is like 9 PM which is a pain, which makes me sad :(

Which reminds me, we're going up to fairbanks, which means I won't be here for a few days (for my brothers college graduation) then we're coming back and doing my graduation.

Ugh. My hair smells like sulfur because of Proactiv's damned refining mask. I used it the past couple nights and I guess the smell rose and got into my hair or something, because whenever I put my hair near my nose, I could smell that disgusting shit. It wouldn't even be that bad if it worked as miraculously as they show in the commercials, but no. It helped a little, I think, but I still have just as many zits as before, wherever I put the stuff on, and they're not even that much less prominent.

EDIT: Additional rant: not having a credit card sucks. I could join cheatingnetwork.com's "conga line" and get a bunch of referrals for my 360elite4free thing, but to do that I have to sign up for someone else's and do an offer, and to do that I need a credit card because all of the offers on there require one. :x :x :x I don't even need money on it! The stuff I would sign up for is free if you cancel in time, like stamps.com and stuff. Grr. Bad day.

You know you can change your life right? I you really are unhappy with your life, then do something about it. It may be because your life is too good, you are starting to resent it. If you were starving almost to death everyday, you would be so worried about your routine life.

You live in the real world. There is no magical escape that everyone would like. You can't blame everybody for how boring your life is. Go to some parties, join a sport.

Basically what you are is confused. You don't know what you want because you are so tired of your boring life. I may not live on my own, but I think we can agree that you should enjoy your teen years because when you get a job, guess what? More repetitiveness.

Only you can bring change to your world and it seems like you want it but aren't motivated enough for it. Just like some people who want a six pack or want to lose weight. They want to but some don't have the dedication need to do it because they are so accustomed to their lives right now.

If you want a "non-boring", give Rwanda a visit, I'm sure you'll have fun there where everything isn't done for you by your parents and you actually have to work for most things.

I wish Halomods wouldn't go down so much.
I also wish that it wasn't so hard to mod your PSP.

Aumaan Anubis wrote:I am so sick of society.

Why should I care about what others think about me? Why should I eat with, 'good manners,' if really, one shouldn't care about what others think of them? Why should I try not to embarrass my family when really, I don't give a hell about what anyone thinks of my family. I really just want to abandon everything. I can't take anything seriously, anymore.
Really, I always thought I was Catholic. Then, I'm taking this "Sacraments and Prayer" class that I find I'm disagreeing with many teachings. It's just crazy.
Society is so retarded. If people would actually think, it could be a lot better.
People honestly try to teach me what I should act like. Like, parents, I mean, all they want to do is make me do things the 'proper' way. I ask them, and they say, yes, I should care about what others think about me.

That idea can only bring worry and stress.
I'm sick of living the way that authorities make us. I'm sick of everything that makes up a societal life.

I was watching Into the Wild, and most of it makes sense to me. The kid just left his family, and went to go out and live in the wild. He met some people, he did some work, he lived on his own. He was independent. I totally want to go do something like that. I'm just so pissed. My parents annoy the hell out of me. I just want to get out of here. I just want to go somewhere, somewhere they have no control over what I do, somewhere where they can't contact me. I just want to freakin' live my life instead of worrying about all this crap with human relationships. It's just so dumb as to why humans are forced to go through this during their lives.

There are so many things that I want to do, but I can't, because one, with all this crap, I don't have the time. Two, I don't find myself able to actually get up the nerve to do anything. Three, I don't have my license(goddammit). Four, I'm not even positive as to what I want to do. I just want to live my life as I feel like it.

My favorite quote in the movie, Into the Wild, was "If you want something in life, reach out and grab it."
I want to do that. But what makes us happy? I've apparently lost the ability to know what makes me happy. I really don't know what I want, but I do want something, I just haven't figured it out, yet. I just want to live alone for awhile, I just wanna get out of here. School, law, debates, politicians, arguments, worry, judgment, control, power, etc. All of it is just crap. They're all fundamental aspects of society, and they bring us no happiness.
I wanna get the hell out of here.

Maybe I'm just sick of routine. Maybe I'm sick of my mom asking, "hey can I borrow your phone?" when I know that she'll have it all day. Why doesn't she freakin' get a phone that works, instead of using mine? Maybe I'm just sick of going to school every day, meeting the same people every day, and seeing them as friends, when really, there's only one person in my life who actually truly entertains me, and I won't to be with. But of course, I can't, because of what society has done to us.

I really don't know what to do. My life lacks action, lacks any dynamic element for me to appreciate. How can I appreciate life when I'm not living it? Where do I start living it? Through my own observation of human behavior, and of ideas and emotions, and just my own knowledge, I feel that I've learnt a lot about life. These things are relatively expressed in my rant. But how does one begin to live life independently? How can one break free of all the guidance and teaching needed to progress?

The idea is infuriating. Life needs to change.
Honestly, your going to need to answer these questions yourself. Though I will say this, I honestly dont know or your situation (correct me if im wrong) but compared to kids eating dirt in africa, the victims of natural disasters, war victims, and the hundreds and thousands dieing of disease, you should be happy these are the only problems you have. All those problems you speak of, are so simple compared to what many other people are going through.

The first Matrix was good, then it kept getting worse. The last was an epic failure.

Does that involve buying another one? And I looked at one of the tuts for getting one and it seems extremely lengthy and complicated.

Yeah, when you have a low firmware. My PSP has the newest (Version 3.95) which was released April 7th, 2008. So, you'd need the magik memory stick as well as the Pandora's Battery to mod mine, and you need a PSP that's already modded to make the files that you need to put on the stick to mod the PSP that you want to mod. I don't even know anyone in my city that has a PSP, much less a modded one.

EDIT: By mod, I mean that I want to downgrade the firmware from 3.95-1.50 so that I can run homebrew kernels/firmwares and so that I can play ROMs on my PSP (This will allow me to play Pokemon on my PSP.)

Yeah, I have 3.50 which is just high enough so that I can use Lumines and not have to do a pandora battery, but I don't want to pay $50 on ebay that everyone's offering it for.
