So is the trip mine's ability to attach to a vehicle just a simple on/off setting?

The tripmine is attached to a marker of the vehicle model?

I'd assume it just uses the same function as the plasma grenade to stick to surfaces...

Not really.
It attaches specifically to the bottom of the vehicle, it is likely how neodos assumed.

i can't think of another piece of equipement that would "stick" or be magnitized to anything, maybe bubble shield/regen to ground because they can't be hit over

Well, in theory, the layout for all equipment pieces would be the same and would all have that value if one had it. Whether it would work or not I'm interested in, but the idea isn't really far fetched.

The possibility of making a shield for vehicles would be awesome (i.e sticky bubble shield). Wow, every new idea is making me hate this soooo much more.

And if it's okay to say this "Could it be possible to modify the beta and then burn then run or are the same methods of retail needed."

Oh, I Thought you could burn betas and or demos to a disc and the 360 reads them fine?

Well I know for a fact you can burn demos to a disc.

B/c the front page say nothing about not able to talk about the beta and I wanted to know whether or not it is possible to mod it and play.

You can. Demos will run off a disc or off the hard drive. You simply burn the demo to the disc with its full directory structure (Content\0000000000000000\etc) and it will appear in the list of demos on your dashboard.

And a random equipment question.. Having a power drain with increased range, and one that would last the whole game? Or atleast last a lot longer?

is it possible to swap the shield being shot effect with the effect of the wraith explosion. so when i shot at soemone it looks like they are being blow up. Oh btw i really enjoyed the client hacked thing Korn that was great watching whoever it was with the pistol (i could just hear the "what?" through the movie)

so technically if i burned the halo 3 beta to a CD or DVD (i have them both) it would be available in would show up on the list of demos? couldn't i just run it then? i mean i understand if they had a private server thats not on anymore that kept the online play (hopefully just the matchmaking) working, but if thats the case, then couldn't we run the beta off line? and yes once again i am aware that you can't select the custom game menu but there was that glitch to get into one, so in the nutshell, wouldn't it be possible to mod the halo 3 beta, make copies of it on cd/dvd's, give them out to 6 different people, run it, do the custom game glitch, then run it...modded?

this most likely will get flamed to a very high level. excuse me for even trying but i have a pretty creative imagination sometimes
