Yes. And to get hot air cooled, then re-circulate it through the computer to cool it down. My G5 gets up to 130 Degrees Farenhight within 20 minutes of starting up, so I need this.

Overclock much? Why not just spend the extra money to get an 80mm fan? They have 6,000RPM fans that could ventilate the amount of air that setup will.

lmao some of you people have no idea what you are talking about.

120° Fahrenheit is completely normal...150° gets critical though. This depends on the size of the processor though. For some old ones 150° is not a problem at all but 120° is more than fine.

CPU temperature is a general rule that works on all processors. 120 degrees Fahrenheit is good.

The fact that you are on a Mac is irrelevant. Fan connections are standard (should be on Mac motherboards as well, I haven't looked at my eMac's, nor at a PowerMac's) 3-pin connections or 4-pin Molex connectors. I don't ever recall there being such a thing as a Mac-specific fan.
And even so, I'm sure you could find a USB -> Molex splitter.

Could always buy a fan and plug it into the wall, then stick it inside the computer :)

I don't know, I've never had a problem with heat in my G5, that I'm aware of, anyway. Case is always cold.

Finally got off my lazy chair and took a picture, though I didn't feel like setting up the picture at all so the picture sucks, but who cares, just a picture of my setup..

I consider it to be my finest piece.

Scotty, I don't have Crackdown. Top left is Marvel Ultimate Alliance, top mid is Mass Effect, top right is bioshock. Bottom left is obviously Halo 3. Sorta wish I had it though.

I'm really debating on wether or not to get GTA.. It seems cool, but there still isn't any in-game gameplay footage around. It's probably similar to older GTAs in that sense, but as I've never played any of them before, it's sort of hard to deal with that.
