Regardless, really neat.
It's water in general.
*Most* all properties pertaining to water(not plane) is denoted in the .rmw(Raw Mesh Water? I'm sure Korn could correct this) tag.

Shade, get on MSN. I have good news.

Can you change the 'force' that the waves have? Like, they by default can push objects around but it might be cool to make them powerful....and large?

Yeah, adding onto his question, did objects(corpses, weapons, etc.) react differently when they came into contact with the new water?

Lots of speed settings are in it.
Though I don't know if they're anything more than aesthetic.

Float values are universal throughout the properties block.
You pretty much have to find the correct tag block then modify the scale of the effect etc.

The property tag blocks that are decently established are as follows:

Code: Select all

0. Flow(?)
1. Cubemap Scale
2: Wave Dispersion Amount
4. Wave Scale
10. Glow bright?
11. Specularity
13. Reflection Properties
13. Fog
14. Cubemap Scale
17. Cubemap Scale
19. Glow Bright?
20. Blue
21. Red
22. Speed
25. Wave intensity/size (wave break?)(X)
26. Wave intensity/size (Y)
27. Wave intensity/size (Z)
29. Wave amount
30. Speed
36: Poly Tessellation

I have been looking for it for ages, mostly results in me freezing my xbox, I think the plugin isn't mapped out completely so the value isn't in mine

Isn't water still just a mesh plane in halo 3?

Those exist still, yes.
Any water you can interact with is not, though.
But you're a genius, so I shouldn't have to remind you.

Put "proper" water in blackout and raise it up to just below the lowest platform...

I doubt that could happen but would be orsm :)

I figured as such. Good thing the values I mapped out held.
Apparently Blackout has its own .sefc dedicated towards making the map a tad(0.2) darker.

Can you change the density of the water so when an object moves on the water it makes giant waves?

That would not occur if it was more dense.

you'd have to edit the related 'rwrd' (render_water_ripple) definition
