Free Forums?

Ok, so I'm looking to find the best free forum service out there, I've been searching for days, haven't really found anything good, they're all pretty much the same. I wanted to see if any of you have come across any really good free forum services?

Also, If this is the wrong place for this, sorry. >_<

there's hundreds out there.
Personally i prefer freeforums.org

But these days I have my own webspace.

The only way to do that would be if you had your own part of a server.
I would suggest phpBB 2 (Legacy) or 3(.01).

Admin at my forums would be able to supply you with a part of his server. I'm not sure if it will cost you anything or not, though.

Yes. hosting your own server is the best option.
If you want mods, go PHPBB2. phpbb3 only has a select mods, not many.

Well, it should have as many as you need.
Although, the legacy version of phpbb2 is much more stable than phpbb 3.
