MP Vehicle Limit of Only 6
If you notice in Halo MP, you can only have 6 different types of vehicles out at the same time. What I want to know is how do you get past that? Cause I hate sacraficing vehicles.

I know what the HEK is, but I think you guys are not understanding my question, I want to know how to do this:
Have more than 6 DIFFERENT TYPES of vehicles out at the same time
(Like standard Halo MP has 6 vehicles (warthog, rwarthog, scorpion, ghost, banshee, gun turret) But if you add lets say the Wraith and put it out and still have all the other vehicles out as well, the Wraith will not show up because you can only have 6 different types of vehicles out at the same time. You guys probably still dont get it, and you probably think this is some noob question, but its not, Halo MP has a hard-coded vehicle limit of 6.

Yea i know its possible, im not quite sure tho. Try messin around with object dulicating(see deadly shadows tut) or somthing like that. Accually I think thats it, duplicate somthing like the warthog, then swap it with any vehicle you imported into the level. Like a wraith. Im probaly wrong but you should try it

OMG!!! Doent anyone understand this question!!! Look at Monoxide's AONTCR SP to MP Convo, he has pelicans, wraiths, warthogs, ghosts, turrets, banshees, rwarthogs, ALL OUT AT THE SAME TIME. He mentioned in a post a while back about how he said he had to overcome a hard coded vehicle limit of 6, for me if stick wraiths out there without getting rid of another type of vehicle then the wraith wont show.
Voided and HunterXI, you guys are really noobs, you know that? You spend so much time posting you dont know what your talking about. Here is the answer to your question gemini. Your right, every mp map has been hardcoded with a maximum vehicle limit of 6. Sure you can swap for scenery, but then what about respawning? It totally fucks up your maps. And when you get a game started with alot of people the new vehicle doesn't show. There is no really easy way to get past this. But i do know how mono did. I played his AOTCR mod with him one time and he told me he had to do the painstaking task of making his extra vehicles item colections. He carefully constructed every pathname in the xml files of those extra vehicles so Halo would read them like item colections ( an example of an item colection is a weapon on the ground before you pick it up). And since item colections respawn, so did his extra vehicles. I know that there is now a tutorial on how to insert an object into the scen without replacing something, but this would still not solve your problem Gemini.
(oh and voided, sbsp of AOTCR is the only thing that makes the map different then its orginal. So other then that, their is no relation between a conversion and its sp ancestor)
Does this answer your question Gemini? I have tried what your doing hundreds of times. And have never gotten it too work. But if you really want to keep trying, then go ahead.
I hoped i finally answered your question. Now i g2g so seeya guys later.
