You can use V1. V2 is too big of a file size.

Why use PNG in the first place?

PNG is only useful if you have transparency, really.
The maximum quality JPG is 16% smaller, putting it below the file size limit. In addition, at 100% size, the human eye is incapable of detecting any changes between the PNG and the JPG. There's no reason to not do it. :3

I save almost all of my sigs in .png

The text is really interesting, usually text in that style just looks... bad, but you did a good job.

I save everything i do in PNG, unless i want it really huge or certain settings. I just like png's flexibility.

Also, i like the sig. V2 is the better one.
