WTF .RAR FILES?

Whenever i upload a .rar file, it comes out as a bunch of fucked up symbols!!!

use www.winace.com to open those files

so, although i zipped up the file with WinRAR, i need winace/winlab to open it? It was never like that with any other .rar file i have used.

wait, i know whats wrong, i guess u have to right click and say "save as"

I downloaded winace and clicked on the link, and the same thing happpened. it opened a page with symbols and stuff. Which means there is something wrong with the way it was zipped up. I will try zipping it into a .rar by use of winace. [edit] damn, it doesn't let u do taht

It should come up with a download prompt

Go download IZArc. It's free and opens up almost every compressed file there is. LIke .rar, .zip, .cab, etc.

Izarc doesnt let u zip things into a rar file either. sure, u can open .rar files, but that's not what im trying to do.

i know it doesnt really matter now but if u use save target as and either put it in quetes with a .rar extinsion or just switch it to all files and put .rar it works fine
