suxxxxxxxx again no cover on this fucking walkway.
i hoped that they will add some cover but they didnt.

its cool that they brought it back to halo3.
finally a map at night. ive wondered if bungie ever seen the world at night.
every single map is at daytime, and i hope for more maps at night.

and i dont think there will be a 3 floor building since they want it to keep as similar as possible to halo2

I don't like the artistic design, but im very happy to get Lockout back. This may get me back into playing Halo again, and a little more seriously.

Edit: Was this the so called "Moonlight Sonata" map, they where gooing to unveil today?

I don't like the environment that much (I was hoping it would still be on the underside of a mountain or whatever like the old one), but still, awesome.

The environment seems quite random, but I'll give it a go. Just doesn't seem to make much sense as far as a Halo game goes.

ya, i really liked how lockout gave you that boxed in feeling, whether or not blackout will have this same effect will be interesting to see.

ps... i just realized... having that cliff on the backside of lockout almost gave you a better sense of security. By seeing a definite wall out of the corner of your eye at a split second's notice really helped your reactions and ability to quickly react to enemies....(Know it really sounds cheesy but even the smallest things can make those subtle changes in game play and performance) :P

anyone else feel what I'm trying to get at???

Just one thing bothering me. This map won't feel like Lockout because of the new BR spread. No more across the map BR-offs.

#1, not dark enough (though I'd rather have a night map on a more natural setting, i.e. not in Blackout, so this is fine).

#2, The actual placement of the station seems weird. Way up in the middle of nowhere in the air? Okay...

#3, I'm glad Bungie stuck with what worked and didn't fuck it up. Graphically I can deal with it, but if they changed a whole bunch of crap I don't think I'd like it (bsp and stuff, not textures)

#4, I can't really say I totally like the actual look of it. Some things look just odd (talking textures and stuff.. specifically the blue building)

#5, fuck yeah. Finally I get an actual slayer map worth playing.

#6, shit, I won't be even able to play it because it won't be played all that much in MM until the damn thing is free.

I'm not a fan of the new style but we got lockout back so it doesn't really matter :D

Maybe one day I'll be able to skin it :)

It's a weather station, not a oil platform.
