Nope, it's 32-bit. I know it'll only recognize like 3.5GB or whatever. RAM will help a little, and if nothing else it'll definitely help speed up my other computer performance, like reloading all 15 of my FF tabs and Windows Aero and stuff. It's about time I got an upgrade anyway. I did it because all the PC's these days, even the crappy sub-$500 ones, ship with 2GB of RAM.

The original blog post of the guy is here, if you wanted to see it. He does give some Portal parameters, and I think the game actually does run better with them. Although it didn't lag as much as HL2 when I first got it, so I can't notice too much of an increase without fraps. But I was anxious to test HL2, so I quit portal and loaded it up and the increase in Portal was nothing like the god-fast boost HL2 got. All I cared about at that point was the fact that I got from almost finished Water Hazard to halfway through Ravenholm (I hate this level) with mostly almost no lag whatsoever.

Congrats. I love that game, but Tooie is much better.

EDIT: Fixed the Firefox issue.

Just went into bookmark backups and did trial and error with each backup file.

I really want that game. I beat B-T once, but I used alot of cheats.

Went snowboarding in Colorado. Only thing that bad about it was the 11 hour drive up there and back.

GAH! I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing because I had SP1 RC installed and to get SP1 I need to uninstall it, and when I tried it got almost all the way and then said it wasn't uninstalled and was reverting back. How ghey.

Figured out how to use my TV tuner thing as a capture card for video games.

Assassin's Creed

Of course, it doesn't look perfect, and there's a (very) slight lag, but its good enough, and now I can record stuff.

Well, you could definitely make it look better. You could sharpen a little to get rid of the blurriness for one.

What capture card / TV Tuner is it? What program do you use to record?

HP ExpressCard TV tuner is the card, and HP Quickplay is what I'm using to record the video.
