Quality wasn't an issue for me. It was just the terrible editing. Gameplay was amazing thoughTural wrote:I can't even tell what's going on in 90% of it, YouTube destroys quality so much. Using YouTube as a sole means to distribute a montage isn't the brightest idea.Aumaan Anubis wrote:I don't watch too many montages, but this is one of the best I've yet seen.
And not only in terms of skill.

The quality did annoy me on the video, but I did enjoy the editing.

And yes, I've seen many complain about how many of them aren't even trying to kill him. It's still pretty sweet.
- Cox.
And yes, terrible quality. It's in fact, disappointing.

You must have some super fantastic magic something if you were able to see anything happening in that video. The only thing I could even comprehend through the copious editing and horrible, unbelievable, terrible, unimaginable, shitty ass quality was the medal icons. You can't see any players who are more than 5 feet away through the artifacting and effects, there's virtually no way that can be hailed as excellent when it's so horrible looking. It's like you're watching a different video, because the one I'm seeing isn't even decipherable. It's dark, fast, overlayed with editing, reduced in quality, loaded with artifacting, and yet somehow it's supposed to be awesome. You can't tell where he's aiming or anything, you just see bodies fall and medals pop up. There is no skill being shown, because you can't see the skill, you can only see the aftermath. The entire first five minutes is nothing but a blur of color and sound effects. Punch them in the face for using YouTube to distribute a video, then have them upload the original somewhere else.

Yeah! Look at him kick that dark, blurry area's ass!

I agree, the montage editing was just full of crappy Adobe Premiere filters. All easy editing, and dear God that noise everytime he collected a medal, It sounds like someone, coughing??? I had no idea what was going on the distortion was unneeded. When I see a montage for something like Halo, I want to see it straight forward with minimum effects to try to increase the "Coolness" of the video.

Tural... I was agreeing with you >_>
I put the sad face because I was disappointed at the quality, as my post said.
Unless, of course, you were just ranting about it and not referencing me at all, then just ignore this post.

N+ is fantastic and quite fun
4 player co-op on live is hilarious with the various antics. some people will be a decoy for the guns or make the sacrifice by jumping on a bunch of mines. Other times its everyone do the same thing and see who gets it first. Also watching someone miscalculate a jump and fall to their death while you run ahead in race is funny.
Somehow, the game isn't frustrating at all,at least not yet
. Now there is lag on xbox live (for some reason o_O), but this lag doesn't really affect you, more it affects how others are displayed (jumpy), but its fine by me so far.
A point which people made is that its also on PC for free. I've got N on my computer, whilst its good, using the 360 control and playing on my HDTV with 4 players, new levels and level editor (the pc version has this too, and its arguably easier to use) is much for fun to me
The single player element is challenging and what I really like is that its a fun platforming game...I haven't played one in a looong time (Mario galaxy is exception since I don't own it and can't play it anymore), possibly due to there being no platformers on the 360, and I've found the game worth the money

It was more directed at your first post when you linked it, stating it was some awesome montage.Aumaan Anubis wrote:Tural... I was agreeing with you >_>
