You need to make shaders in gerilla and save them with the same name as the materials in 3ds max. Make a folder called "shaders" in your levels tag folder and make and save a .shader_envrionment tag in it.

ima add some:

in Shader encvironement, Check Simple parameterization at the top then scroll down to ''Base map'' this is where yous elect your bitmap. the rest is detail layers you might wanna use.

If you're making a Scenery or vehicle or whatever, use Shader_model tags instead.

what is the difference between a shader_environment and a shader_model? When I was making a scenery I accidentally made the shaders environment and I didn't notice anything that was significant.
