"Sorcerer"

Post by Ghostlypickel »

Ok well me and my friend Andrew have been working on this for several days now and we think that it is comming along quite nicely. Its basicly a "Pro Map Tools", "UMPv5", "AIO" very similar to them but for the H3 apps. So far right now we are going to call it "Sorcerer" and hopefuly this will be what everyone is using the next couple of months. I would prefer this to remain in the "Modding Discussion" area until it is ready for use.

At the moment we are pretty close to completion, but it will be given out early if the "Add Your App" Feature becomes available we just want to add a few features. We also want to make this a community project and so we will be giving the source code out later if anyone would like to help.

Pack Features(so far):

-Jhonson 1.4 (Prey)
-Engineer (Shade45)
-Halo 3 Screenshot Tool (Anthony
-SHA256 Hash Calculator (Ion)
-Various links to helpful sites

You can contact me or Andrew I suggest you contact him because he is the project lead.

I've always found application organizers to be more of a hindrance than a help.

Why? I like them because you dont have to search you computer for each app, and when new ones are realesed you wont have to individualy download it. Speaking of that we want to make sort of an "Auto upadte" feature for when a new program is realesed but im not quite sure how to do that thats why we want to have some help.

Shortcuts in a folder.
Right click Taskbar, Toolbars > New toolbar.

No searching, no application required.

To be honest, this is a true waste of time and effort on everyone's part. There aren't enough halo 3 applications out yet, and even if they were there probably not going to be truly "public" anytime soon.

The UI on it doesn't look to appealing either, and it could use a face lift.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing it. I just don't see a reason for this?

@DkBiker180: Why would anyone want to help to get it earlier? If they help of course they are going to get it earlier, they are helping write/build it. Didn't have to point anything out there.

Sorry if I come off as being a complete jackass, just realize people probably won't support this.

Apologies for seeming to be an ass, again, I'm not trying to be.
Accept Change.

Lol. Its ok. Yes I understand it is VERY early but to some i hope this will be useful in the future if you do not like the idea or do not have any interest in it thats understanable you are always going to run into bumps. I know there are not many programs out there but atleast we can start. If many people think we should hault the project until we have more apps the implement in the organizer i have no problem with waiting until we have more resources.
