command prompt prob

when ever i try to go to my halo custom edition folder it says:

"Program is not recognized as an internal or external command, operatable program or batch file"

the path that shows up when i start up the command prompt is:
C:\Users\******>

the full path i use is:
C:\Users\******>Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\

No, you go to C:\WINDOWS\system32, copy cmd.exe from there, then go to you halo ce directory and paste it in there.

You forgot the "CD" command.

Copying and pasting works as well :p. Just make sure everything is in you halo ce root.

well i got the command prompt to work thanks to u guys

but now its saying:
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map
==>!!WARNING!! failed to open TIFF: file does not exist <==

im following kirks map creating process and it doesnt have anything in there saying anything about tiff files

could u guys help me out what i did wrong?

You saved your splinter ground image as a .tiff file right?

in the first line i type in tool to bring up the commands
in the second i type tool bitmaps levels\cliffedge\bitmaps
