mulitpurpose bitmaps? what are they?

mulitpurpose bitmaps? what are they?

for like half the bitmaps out there, there is a multipuropse bitmap. For example, cyborg hands.bitmap and cyborg hands multipuropse.bitmap.

All i can tell is that it makes the hands funny colors and has no effect when u change it. What is it?!

okay, here is how it works.

blue:
the areas that are affected by the color of suite you choose like blue or red. this is not an actual texture. if you look at the MC's texture, you will notice that it is all white this is because halo "tints" the white into any other color.

green:
the areas that are self illuminated or arent affected by light such as the little lights on MC's suit belt

red:
areas that reflect
