I think WinRAR might be a good idea. It's so incredibly useful, but it seems as if only people with above-average computer skills know what it's used for.

Possibly a conglomerate of multiple software types in a certain field?

IE: Compression, you could overview WinRar and 7zip, or something of the sort.

You could do like how you need FlashFXP to access files, then winrar to open them or use hex workshop to look at them....

That has nothing to do with what he wants. That's an addition to the item. It is irrelevant to his request. Your suggestion was Ubuntu, the rest of your post had nothing to do with the request.
