So if I understand this right as a class you pick a game to reverse engineer or hack? What if you cant achieve all of that, im guessing your using PC games? Sounds pretty cool though. Too bad the only interesting class my school offers is a VB class wich they dont teach you anything the right way
My Computer Science is doing quickBasic and Java. It's really basic stuff, but I guess it's necessary if you want to do anything real and not feel completely lost right off the bat (as I really have no experience other than making text adventures on my TI-83 calc)
Me and my friends were the leaders of the video game club at the North Site of my school a couple years back (hah, I know..). We organized lan parties (usually Counterstrike) for after school (once even an overnight party ;p). It was pretty fun while it lasted.. the district got on us about it, though. On our disclosures we agreed the computers were for academic purposes only... And not everyone had a laptop or something to bring, so we just stopped.
