Puppy Bowl IV

Post by GametagAeonFlux »

As you all know, Animal Planet aired its fourth annual Puppy Bowl earlier today (I believe they're still showing reruns). Anyone else watch it? I personally think the ref was a bit of a douche with all of the personal fouls he called, but whatever, shit happens in this sport.

I'm not sure if anyone else caught the bullshit Abigail pulled in the 1st with the faux-shortage. As you all know when the water bowl becomes emptied
a Timeout is required to be called, and the action is shifted to Bowl-Cam, Abigail took advantage of that and got sent to the Dog House.
Kodiak, the Rottweiler / Lab Mix, pulled off an amazing kick in the 3rd quarter, as expected from previous performance, but still nothing short of impressive.
Rascal, the Border Collie Mix was able to pull off an amazing defensive breakdown towards to end of the 2nd but again, standards are getting set too high and are falling victims to themselves.

EDIT: I'm going to note Abigail attacking the refdoll during the 4th and getting sent to the Doghouse again!
Unfortunately Jackson, the Westie, fell below his morals and scored a puppy penalty for biting.

Yeah, Jackson's biting may have been a bit of a disappointment, but he did pull off an amazing terrier tackle to recover the fumble in the first. Seriously dude, that alone should net him MVP.

As you all know, Kira has always been a fan of chasing ice cream trucks.
It really gives you an idea of how much practice can pay off when she's still at 100% in the 4th.
An overall great display of cardiovascular endurance.

I rather liked the half-time show.

The two seconds it would have taken you to Google "Puppy Bowl" would have prevented those unnecessary posts.

For future reference, Puppy Bowl. If you are going to make asinine comments such as the two above, kindly leave the thread.
