yea, and I wanna see what we can do with chunk clonning in this Halo, cus there are tags for misc things such as scripts ect.

will the swaping stuff lke bipeds or projectiles be as easy as it was in HMT or will it be different??

No, it will be the most complex thing possible. Think about it, finding values, crashing almost every 20 seconds, H2V bans you, and then all the sudden, your computer dies because Microsoft saw you hack, and then destroyed your computer.

sweet. now we need a way to get scripts into maps we make. any ideas?
HG removed the compile button but the script_recompile command still works but idk where the .hsc file needs to go or if h2 even uses .hsc files. i then moved onto hex editing the scenario file before building the cache file, i found a script called player0 with this (script static unit player0 (unit (list_get (players) 0))) in my map but i cant see it when i enable debug_scripting in sapien. the script count must be set to 0 in the header or w/e.

Microsoft won't give a flying damn about you complaining due to the fact that their decision to limit modding was most likely a rational choice, and has a larger picture than some people with too much time on their hands messing with their software.

Scripts are easy. In SP maps there are 4 tags all under the hsc* class. Globals\global_scripts, Cenamtic, Mission, and Predictions. The names speak for them selves on what they are. There meta's are directly ontop of each other, so inorder to add or delete scripts you would have to shift. But there at teh bottom so its no biggie.
