Hopefully in that update it has an integrated spell checker for all textbox's.

I hope MS doesn't mess up as bad as Vista. That's all I have to say.

MS might have screwed up, but they aren't stupid. They make that mistake again. They are using MinWin as the kernel which is supposedly very efficient with resources (supposedly because not that people outside of MS PR have said anything about it).

My Vista is perfectly fine but you have to have experience for configuration I admit.

1) Custom ISO + Bootsector to get the 64-bit installation launched...
2) Network Controller was really my Network Wireless Adapter...manually overwrite drivers to get access to Internet...
3)Disabling UAC...

But I guess that's really there's all to it.

Vista has worked perfectly fine for me all this time. All my programs that are supposed to run, run great. I've had no issues many people complain about.

I will upgrade to Windows 7 just like I did Vista. Everyone told me not to buy Vista, and to wait. I said No, went out and got it on the first day, and I will buy Windows 7 on the first day.

The only reason people despise Vista, is they don't believe it's as user friendly as OSX, or XP. I on the other hand find it very user friendly.

It's not just spelling. :|

Though, about Vienna 7, never heard of it, as of now, at least. If I had Vista, I'm sure it'd run just fine on my PC, though, I may have to disable a lot of features.

I don't understand why everyone hates Vista so much; it's really quite a useful OS. :?

i enjoy using vista, its sjut once in a while i find a uncompaticble progrma which annoys me, probley because i like alot of older programs, but other then the its the most user friendly OS yet, vienna i say is going to be good becuase MS has relized the mistakes it made with vista, and its newer so there will be more features

The thing that will please me the most about it is that I heard it will be sort of like a stripped down version of Vista. So maybe it will run a tid bit faster and play games better.

WHAT?! As in, the entire operating system weighs a measely 25MB?!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

*rave*

How the hell could an entire OS, previously about 15GB, be fit into 25MB? Or were you saying something else?

Anyway, I'll be sure to get this OS when it comes out. Anything is better than Vista.

Thats not the entire OS by the way, it's just the kernel..

Wha? I bet all of the UI images themselves take up 25 MB. It'll most definitely gain more than a bit...

And yeah, Vista is a good OS...I just like the snappyness of XP a lot more, and there's no reason for me to upgrade. DirectX 10 games aren't a big deal for me yet. I'm happy with what I've got. I don't need to upgrade just to feel cool that I'm an early adopter. When there's a need for it, I'll upgrade.

EDIT: Just saw Prey's reply. Yeah, that makes more sense...

I don't hate it, it's just that so far I have not seen a single feature it has the XP doesn't already have(Performance wise, not in a gaming aspect). I am completely content with my OS and reason to change just because of a little appearance upgrade, some un-needed features, and because it's new is pretty illogical IMO.

(Also, please correct me if I'm wrong)
