Just got home from seeing the new Rambo movie and it was good. Pretty graphic in some scenes and the movie was kind of short (only an hour and 30 minutes), but it was really good. So, here I am making a thread... discuss if you will. :)

It was exactly what a Rambo movie should be...overly violent, macho, and cheesy. Definitely worth the watch, especially considering how disappointing most sequels are nowadays. :P

I have to agree by saying it's a good watch. I usually don't say that about many movies anymore but this one actually kept me "entertained", like it was meant to do. I say "Go see it!".

I've been hearing good things about it, and it looks good. So I'm gonna have to go see it.

I saw it on Friday and had a blast. Definitely my favorite Rambo movie and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD to see it again. I might actually just go see it in theaters again.

They already made a movie about a dinosaur running around in the jungle. It's called Jurassic Park.

Oh, ok. So what does that have to do with Rambo? If you came in expecting something other than a massive killing spree with little to no plot, that's your own fault.

He's referring to Rambo being a large muscular freak that runs threw the jungle terrorizing people.

kinda like a dinosaur.

I realize...but what's the first thing you think of when you hear the word "Rambo"? Most likely you'll think of some dude going around the jungle with an M60 killing people. You honestly shouldn't expect a Rambo movie to be anything more than just that.

The movie was very enjoyable. I love the Rambo movies, this one worked very well as a sequel. Same Rambo stuff: Kill, Blow up, Kill, Run around, Kill.

I don't like how reviews don't take that into account.

It's crap like this that makes me stop reading reviews

"Stallone's previous film, Rocky Balboa (2006), was a highly personal and surprisingly touching film. But Rambo shows no such justification for its existence."

Apparently that person has no love for 1 hour and 30 minutes of killing, explosions, and weapons. Plot? Who needs it!
