Also, to make the ODSTs able to drive and ride shotgun in the 'hog, I've changed the animations to that of the ghost. Is there any way to use the correct 'hog animations for them? And lastly, is it possible to get the default animations for the human and covenant turrets? For the time being, I'm using the hog turret animations for the human turret, and haven't bothered with the covy turrets =/
Also, to make it balanced, I was wondering if anyone knows of a covy biped that can't dual wield, seeing as how ODSTs can't either."
I plan on redoing/updating this mod as I lost the original .map file. I still have the skins and stuff though, so hopefully I can recreate the feel of the original mod.
Features that will be added:
-New BSP
-Machs (and maybe scen) added
-Better/new models with skins (and hopefully working shaders and skins)
-Bipd swaps again
-Hopefully fixed animations for the ODST
-Plan on adding Brute biped to replace Elite
-New weapon skins for existing weapons
-New, realistic vehicle skins
-SP weapons added and possibly reskinned
-Maybe a couple SP vehicles (Pelican, prophet chair, etc.)
If anyone wants to help me with the models' shaders/skins/re-UVWing, feel free to post here or PM me.
I'd like to revive this mod and finish it for completion's sake, but I don't have very many modding tools anymore; they were wiped in a hard drive failure. I also haven't really kept up with anything new, besides Prophet I s'pose, and I don't remember which version of Entity worked the best. If I get anywhere with this, I'll post new screenshots in a few days.
Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Though I have little time to do anything, I'd like to see this thing finished. I'm glad you returned to it!
Okay, so I've gotten Entity 1.4 with fairly recent plugins (I believe) and Prophet and tried to get started on this, but I haven't been able to get either of them to run properly in Vista. Do they need to be on the same partition as the maps to work properly?
I may not be an all knowing god but I know sucsess when I see it.....
